Friday was the return to normalness here in Savannah.

Everyone in the Green Hummer crew started doing mostly their own things again. The Hummer did make a scheduled appearance at DesotoRow, an art gallery in Savannah’s Starland district. The gallery was showing off some thoughtful protest art in response to the G8 Summit.

After the opening, Daniel took some of the people at the gallery on rides around the block. Then, back to Green Hummer HQ. The official end of the 2004 G8 Summit protests.

But not the end of the Green Hummer Project!

Greetings from up north to the Green Hummer folk...

Just wanted to let you know what a great time Savannah was, thanks to the green hummer crew!  Thank you for your amazing hospitality.  I’ll wear my t-shirt with pride.

Keep me posted on your rides

You guys are such lame assholes.  Do you actually think that people take time to reflect on that yellow and gren monstrosity when they see it?  No, they say “Hmm. Cool.” or conversely “Fucking hippies.  They need to quit whining and start bathing.” Then they promptly forget it.  Because it’s not important, and it’s not going to change anything.

Get a real job please! I mean seriously who hangs out in art galleries driving a cardboard box.  Oh yeah thats right, Sissy, pansy ass tree-huggers thats who.  Please just hop in your box and drive north right up to Canada with the other pussies.  This country was founded by great men, and none of which gave a damn about the spotted owl.

Wow. Sometimes ignorance is funny. In the case of “HippiesSuck” and “ILuvMySUV” it’s frightening. They went out of their way to register so they could post their messages of hate (not reasonable discourse or intelligent debate, hate).

Ride on, Project. Solidarity.

No, not hate, just sick and tired of the whining. All you on the left feel that you are the opressed ones and have to impose it on everyone else. The truth of the matter is, the (silent)majority of the people don’t give a F*ck.

a big thanks to all you green hummer projectors for some amazing southern hospitality, hot bike action, and delicious food… you are all sorely missed!
now listen- nyc is 813.15 miles from savannah. if you left now, rode 10-hour days and averaged 11mph on the road, you’d arrive just in time for our next critical mass, at which i’m sure the green hummer would be a big hit. time to take this show on the road- call when you get close, and thanks again for everything…

ILuvMySUV:

I don’t think you can read this website and claim the authors genuinely feel opressed.  I would suggest if anything they are liberated and thinking outside of your hateful constraints.

You read, but you don’t want to learn. You write, but you have nothing to say.
