The Hummer crew left Headquarters at 4:00 today, after setting up a good lighting system, making large flyers for around town, touching up paint on the Hummer, and waiting out a typical summer rain shower.

The plan for the day was to ride around the city, drop off flyers at our favorite businesses, give flyers to curious people, and have a good time.

We dropped off flyers to two popular businesses on Forsyth Park. Then, we moved farther into town. However, there were hardly any people on the streets, not even very many military. Some cool businesses were closed because of the G8, and it was a fairly dull city once again.

On a straight-away, Patrick and Stephen broke Johnie’s and Jarrod’s speed record of 9.6 mph, raising the bar to 12.9 mph. Let’s see if they can beat that!

We were out late tonight, possibly because of the lighting system. However, the complete deadness of the city made us decide to head in relatively early. Again, we were the only protesters visible in the city.
