Green Hummer Wins "Least Intimidating Hummer" Award!

This just in… the Green Hummer has won a prestigious G8 award from Snitch Magazine.

In Snitch’s June 16 Savannah issue, the Green Hummer was declared the “Least Intimidating Hummer”:

One of the desired effects of the Green Hummer, a man-powered, bright yellow contraption created by combining several steel rods, three bicycles worth of parts, plywood, pvc and prayer is to get people “to see our pedal-powered, life-size Hummer H2 cruise around a real city, and think about the contrast between advertising and the real world,” according to the group’s website, greenhummerproject.org. It worked. And in the process, they also garnered national media attention, a chorus of honking horns, and an endless supply of waving pedestrians.

Ok, we’re kidding about the prestigious part. But still pretty cool, eh?
